Good afternoon,
Hockey WA have opened nominations for the 2022 J 7/8 Carnival weekend scheduled for 20 August 2022.
Carnivals will be run out of the following venues:
ALDERBURY RESERVE - FLOREAT
Divisions available: Boys, Girls & Mixed.
CRESSWELL PARK - SWANBOURNE
Divisions available: Boys & Girls
LARK HILL SPORTSPLEX - ROCKINGHAM
Divisions available: Boys, Girls & Mixed
The Carnivals will be held in the first half of the day, starting at approximately 9am at each venue, however specific timings will be dependent on the venue as well as the number of teams who nominate.
Games will be in a shorter format to allow teams to get as many games in across the morning as possible.
Clubs will be required to nominate an umpire with EVERY team you enter. Their commitment is to umpire the game immediately before or after your own on the same field.
There will also be opportunities available for umpires who wish to complete their Foundation Support Umpire (Community) accreditation to undergo assessment during this weekend. If your club or association have any umpires who are wishing to be assessed, please direct all queries to Angela Edwards: angela.edwards@hockeywa.org.au.
Please note that as the form is web-based (RevSPORT). Once you have finished and submitted the form, Hockey WA will be notified that your team nominations are in. With regards to Nomination Fees, Hockey WA will send an Invoice to your Association once all nominations have been received, which will not be until closer to the date of the Championships.
Nominations Close Sunday 14 August 2022, 11:59pm.
Late nominations will not be accepted unless there is a vacancy.
